Sara Hanna
Sara started working at headspace in 2018, after graduating from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Public Health and Health Promotion.
Sara works with young people aged 12-25, families and the broader community in a number of settings to promote positive mental health and wellbeing, reduce stigma and encourage early help-seeking. She delivers community engagement activities and health promotion programs in schools, universities, sporting clubs, youth services and other community groups.Â
Sara coordinates and supports the Youth Advisory Group for headspace Hawthorn and headspace Malvern. The Youth Advisory Group are a group of young people who volunteer at headspace to ensure services and community engagement efforts are youth-friendly, and meet the needs of young people.Â
Areas of interest
Sara is passionate about youth participation, mental health and social inclusion. She enjoys co-designing projects with young people to achieve better health and wellbeing outcomes for the broader community.Â
Working days
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.
