About Bus Outings

Access Health and Community offers social support and respite services to people aged over 65 living in Yarra. Our Social Support Bus Outings provides the opportunity for people to visit places of interest, and enjoy the company of others.

Pickup: Participants are picked up from their homes between 9am and 10am and returned by approximately 4pm.

Register: Clients must be registered with My Aged Care. We can provide assistance with the registration process if you need.

Cost: Bus outings are $12 per trip, plus the cost of meals. Invoices will be issued monthly.

2 Feb:   The Customs House Hotel – Williamstown

Enjoy morning tea out, followed by a scenic drive and lunch in Williamstown

Cost: Senior meals from $20

16 Feb: Rose Cottage Restaurant – Monbulk

Enjoy a drive in the hills, followed by lunch

Cost: 2 course meals from $23

1 Mar: Steeples Restaurant -Mornington

Morning tea out followed by a drive along the bay to Mornington for lunch

Cost: Senior meals from $22

15 Mar: Bridges Restaurant – Hurstbridge

Enjoy a scenic drive in the hills followed by lunch

Cost: Senior meals $16

29 Mar: The Pine Grove Hotel – Upper Beaconsfield

Morning tea out followed by a scenic drive through the hills to Upper Beaconsfiled

Cost: Meals from $22

Booking and cancellation:

Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis. Bus outings are popular and places are limited.  To ensure everyone get the opportunity, participates may not be able to attend two consecutive trips.

If you are not able to attend, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations will be charged. Exceptions to this may be made in some circumstances at the Team Leader’s discretion.
