Local Community Participation

At Access Health and Community, we believe that a healthy community should have opportunities to take part in conversations about the things that matter to them. We believe that our service users, should have a voice on decisions that affect them.

We value the insights you have and know that they can help us to improve. We are committed to listening to and working in partnership with our community, so that our services meet your needs.

We invite you to add your voice and personal experience to improve the work we do, the services we offer, and the ways we go about improving community health for all. There are many ways to get involved. Participation is voluntary and you can tell us your areas of interest.

There are many opportunities to get involved including:

  • local community participation groups (Boroondara, Yarra and Manningham)
  • forums, focus groups and reference groups on various topics
  • planning events
  • giving feedback and advice on services
  • helping with staff training
  • reading and giving feedback on reports and handouts.

We invite people from all backgrounds to participate. We value diversity and will provide assistance to be involved if required.

Please fill out the form below if you are interested in helping us to improve the health of your community.
