Dr Ling Zheng graduated with her MB BS (China) in 1983, completed her Masters, and three PhD studies at Tongji Medical University (China) 1989, Essen University (Germany) 1994, and Monash University (Australia) 2001. Prior to practicing as GP in Australia, she worked as Senior Medical Research Fellow of Respiratory Medicine at Queen Mary Hospital of Hong Kong University , and Respiratory Medicine, The Alfred, Monash University,  with a decades of  medical research experience involving chronic lung diseases, lung transplant, and publications on international peer reviewed journals.

Dr Ling Zheng is a Fellow of The Royal Australia College General Practitioners and has been practicing at Access Health and Community since 2011.

Dr Ling Zheng consults in both English and Mandarin. She has a caring, thorough and patient- centred approach. It is important to her that her patients understand the factors affecting their health and are able to make informed decisions about lifestyle, health and medicine.

Areas of interest

Dr Ling Zheng is interested in all aspects of general medicine and her special interests include asthma management, women’s health, child and adolescent health, aged care, chronic disease management and preventive medicine.
